The people behind our closings.
A closing has more people in it than the two names on the deed. These are the firms we have called on our own sales: the lenders, the title company, the trades. Names only. Ask, and we make the introduction.
The list
Six trades, in the order a sale meets them
Each entry carries the step of the sale it belongs to, taken from the selling guide, and one line on what the trade does for the closing.
Group 1: Mortgage lenders
An offer names its financing, mortgage or cash, and a mortgage contingency date. The lender is the one who has to make that date.

- 02Self Reliance Federal Credit UnionIntroduce me to Self Reliance Federal Credit Union
- 03Affinity Federal Credit UnionIntroduce me to Affinity Federal Credit Union
Group 2: Title
Runs the closing table with the attorneys. The deed is recorded after it, and the Realty Transfer Fee is paid when it is.
- 04Hudson United TitleIntroduce me to Hudson United Title
Group 3: Construction
The fix list before photographs is short: paint, lighting, hardware, a fixture, a door that sticks. Anything larger is a contractor.
- 05JP New ConstructionIntroduce me to JP New Construction
- 06Emory ConstructionIntroduce me to Emory Construction
Group 4: Roofing
The roof’s age is on the inspector’s list for every older house. A roofer answers the question before the buyer’s inspector asks it.
- 07Capitol RoofingIntroduce me to Capitol Roofing
Group 5: Plumbing, heat and hot water
The boiler and the water lines are on the same list. A newer furnace is a line in the listing; a failing one comes back as a repair request or a credit.
- 08Royal Heating and CoolingIntroduce me to Royal Heating and Cooling
Group 6: Exteriors
Facade, cornice, windows. Inside the five local historic districts, repairs and restoration are usually approved by staff under a Certificate of No Effect; additions go to the commission.
- 09New View Home ExteriorsIntroduce me to New View Home Exteriors
Not on this listAttorneys and home inspectors are the buyer’s or seller’s own to choose. We give names when asked; see the selling guide, steps 7 and 8.

Send your name and number. A partner calls back within one business day, asks what the job is, and makes the call to the firm for you. Or email info@thehamiltonparkgroup.com with the firm’s name.
